John Bielenberg is creative director of Pando Populus. He has been described as a “designer, entrepreneur and imaginative advocate for a better world.”John has won more than 250 design awards in his career, including the 2013 AIGA Gold Medal for leadership in the design for good movement.
Tucker Nichols is an artist living and working in the San Francisco Bay area and is artist-in-residence for Pando Populus. Tucker’s most recent solo shows have been held at the ZieherSmith Gallery in New York, Gallery 16 in San Francisco, and the Kunstpanorama in Luzern, Switzerland.
Michael Braley is Design Director for Pando Populus. Creative Director of Braley Design, Michael’s brand, print, book and package design has been recognized with more than 400 professional honors and awards and is in the permanent collections of the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design, and others.
Pat Danley Beiting is Book Review Editor for Pando Populus. After a career in education, Pat is now focusing on issues of the common good that include the theory and ethics of integral ecology as well as practical support for compassionate communities.
Kate Davis is Design Director for Pando Populus. Creative Director/Account Director for Braley Design, Kate is a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design and began her career in apparel design with senior positions at Polo Jeans, Esprit, Aeropostale, and others. She joined Braley Design in 2014, handling client relations, project management, and creative direction.
Amy Goldberg is a Pando Hubs producer and editor of the ROOTBALL newsletter. She is a former broadcast news writer and producer, public relations consultant and U.S. Senate press secretary.

Marc O’Brien is a design strategist for Pando Populus. Marc produces and leads creative workshops that focus on creating positive change while tackling some of today’s gnarly social challenges. Through a series of playful exercises, he helps people come up with fun, unique, and innovative solutions to those challenges.
Claudia (C.S.) Pearce is a Pando Hubs producer. She has been writing about public affairs, natural science, and religious and ethical issues since 1992. Before that, she was a programmer-analyst and project leader.
Mervis Reissig is a Pando Hubs producer. She got her first taste of activism cleaning birds in the San Francisco Bay oil spill. She retired in 2015 from a career in management and spends time trying to make a better future for her three beautiful grandchildren.

The Rev. Ed Bacon served for more than 20 years as Rector of one of the largest and most socially active progressive churches in the country, All Saints, Pasadena. A national media figure, he was the first faith leader to regularly and systematically call attention to the Pando one-tree-forest as a contemporary and inter-religious symbol of faith.
John B. Cobb, Jr. is founding chairperson of Pando Populus and intellectual architect of the June 2015 conference, “Seizing an Alternative.” A member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, John is the author of some fifty books and was among the first to address the intersection of philosophy, ethics, and the environment.
Devon Hartman is an architect and founding executive director of the Community Home Energy Retrofit Program, CHERP.
Paul Koretz is Los Angeles City Councilmember (5th District). He has long been at the forefront of environmental and social justice issues in Los Angeles and helped open our inaugural conference at Pomona College. Andy Shrader, the Councilmember’s Director of Environmental Affairs, Water Policy, and Sustainability, represents the Councilmember on Pando matters in his absence.
