Why I’ll Be on the Roadtrip to Pando: Chef Lee

Lee Davidson is Founder and Chef of Made2Gather.  Based in Oakland, she brings together her South African and Israeli roots to create culinary experiences that are about eating, sharing, and connecting.

How have you come to the place to where you’re making this roadtrip to Pando? What’s
gotten you here?

I am here to serve and nourish others changing the world for the better! I am making this trip to Pando, because over the last 3 years I have built a strong and supportive community and relationships with those that have referred me to join this incredible social justice and environmental project.

You’re a chef. What’s unique about the way you look at Pando and its significance?

I think of myself as an artist and food healer, here to communicate and share knowledge on how we should slow down and reassure that all parts of the world can symbiotically evolve.  I think Pando is a significant part of this communication dialogue.

You’re serving as ROADTRIP chef. Why are you going?

My mission in life is to nourish and support organizations and communities that are
change-makers in the world and Pando is a perfect match, sharing these same values of
education and saving mother nature’s gifts while supporting social justice.

What’s a private ambition you hope for?

I would like to create a mindful cultural food show documenting how similar we are as humans in the world and how our cultures should co-exist.

What would make the experience one of the most amazing trips you’ve ever been on?

The opportunity for sharing my passion and love for nourishing is key.
