Campando 2018 extended our model of offering a changemaker-retreat that we had prototyped in 2017, expanding the diversity and numbers whom we served.
Campando weekends are for next-generation and established Southland leaders who want to unplug to recharge. It is for no more than a half dozen change-makers per event.
Campando aims for the rejuvenation of mind, body and soul. It combines a minimally structured program with maximal opportunity to commune with nature, share stories of service, and join in with any of the daily routines of the sisters who live lives of radical commitment.
The 2018 season brought together participants from diverse organizations focused on everything from climate to urban agriculture, sustainability education to interfaith work.
