Eco-Shelter

Natural Ivy Foundation is a small organization doing remarkable work on limited resources to serve homeless women, children, and elderly. Volunteer-run, Natural Ivy offers supportive housing for clients who are between temporary shelter and permanent housing.

Other services include childcare for clients who attend school or work, case management, hands-on job training and employment placement, nutrition education, prepared meals, transportation aid, cultural events, and access to healthcare.

Their vision is deeply holistic – but they need our help to deal with out-of-control water problems at the house, create an eco-oasis of vegetables and herbs in an unused area of the back yard, direct the home’s grey water to the garden site, and assess and improve health and safety overall.
