California State University, Los Angeles presents
Hydrogen Station Marketing
Rebranding and revitalizing the Cal State LA Hydrogen Research and Fueling Facility through strategic marketing and outreach.
The project reimagines the branding, marketing materials, and outreach strategy for The Cal State LA Research and Fueling Facility (H2 Station) in an effort to revive this long-standing model of clean energy innovation within the university community. Through in-depth market research and industry analysis, students identify key barriers to awareness and adoption, and develop strategic, audience-centered marketing proposals aimed at reshaping public perception and enhancing institutional support.
The work is part of a multi-step plan to position Cal State LA as a leader in sustainability technology by making hydrogen innovation a core part of the campus brand. In collaboration with the College of Engineering, Computer Science, and Technology, we propose to prototype simple yet impactful student-led initiatives. The project serves as a foundation for a much larger rebranding effort with future cohorts continuing to advance and expand on the deliverables presented.
