CSULB 2

California State University, Long Beach presents
LoopLB
A mobile app that incentivizes Long Beach residents to create a circular economy with points and monthly upcycling events.

LoopLB is a mobile-based incentive system designed to fully integrate Long Beach into a circular, regenerative economy. It aspires to transform the relationship residents have with waste, turning everyday disposal into a rewarding, collective act of environmental conservation. It leverages digital innovation and community engagement to make Shoreline Village a visible model for circular economy transformation. The project’s core mission is to close the loop between waste and commerce by turning pollution prevention into a shared celebration of sustainability and local business support.
