LATTC

The LATTC Live + Work Lofts is a mixed-use community designed to help graduating students turn their education into careers and businesses. By combining affordable housing, student-run storefronts, makerspaces, and shared workspaces, the project creates a place where students can live, work, create, and grow. Need a custom dress, a wedding cake, a mural, a website, a marketing campaign, custom furniture, architectural drawings, a tiny house design, a promotional video, a game concept, or a storefront makeover? The Live + Work Lofts connects the Los Angeles community with talented students from architecture, engineering, fashion, culinary arts, cosmetology, digital media, game design, carpentry, and other creative programs. The project provides students with real-world experience while supporting entrepreneurship, workforce development, and economic opportunity. More than a building, the Live + Work Lofts is a model for how community colleges can bring together housing, education, and social mobility in one vibrant campus community.
