Otis College of Art and Design | P3: An architectural green print. | Goal 3: Equitable and sustainable land use and development without displacement | Goal 6: Accessible parks, beaches, recreational waters, public lands, and public spaces that create opportunities for respite, recreation, ecological discovery, and cultural activities
P3 is an architecture project rooted in art + public practice that facilitates environmental justice and cultural programming. Because under-served communities are so lacking in green space, our project aims to catalyze political action and influence policy change by designing a “green print” to serve as an ecological template for the transformation of small hardscapes to urban parks. Our design for this challenge is informed by civic engagement, creative strategy, and the creation of an on-going community engagement.
